Inside Scoop: Brittany Hope, Quality Control Technician

1. What is your position at Rogers Family Company?

Quality Control Technician

2. How long have you been working for Rogers?

1 year and 6 months

3. What is your favorite hobby?

I love action sports. I snowboard, wakeboard, I ride motorcycles (street and dirt) and this summer I will be racing my street bike at Thunder Hill, camping at the dunes, I love anything with an engine in it and going fast, and I love shooting guns, pistols and rifles.

4. Why do you enjoy it so much?

All of those things bring pure happiness to me. Maybe it is the amount of adrenaline that these activities can give me or because the feeling of going fast is one that is not comparable to anything else in this world.

5. What is the most interesting thing about you?

I love big dogs. I am a dog lover and wish that I could take home every dog at the pound. I have a Golden Retriever and a German shepherd. I grew up with parents that bred Great Pyrenees dogs and I would cry every time a pup would get sold. I would rather spend my free time at the dog park with my furry kiddos than anything else.

6. If you have a hero, who is it?

My mom, Lisa Ann Hope

7. Why is this person your hero?

I am very grateful for having the most amazing mother in the world. She is my hero for many reasons. She will be graduating in June of this year with her Bachelor’s Degree and she has managed to do this all while having a full time job. She has taught me to work as hard as I can at anything I do, and do the best that I can do. She is my hero because I have always inspired to be a human being that is as successful, passionate, humble, understanding, and intelligent as my mother. She is such an amazing woman!

8. Scenario: You win the lottery. $300,000,000. What do you do?

The first thing I would do would be to pay off my entire family’s debt. I would make my 80 year old Nana retire finally, I would rebuild my hometown’s schools and build them actual running tracks (Toledo, WA), I would donate money to the ASPCA, I would buy every toy with an engine that I’ve ever wanted, build my dream home, travel the world, and then save the last few dollars 🙂

9. What is your favorite Rogers coffee?

Kenya AA is my 1st and then Colombian Supremo

San Francisco bay coffee

a real secret to the toll house cookie recipe is to add a liquor instead of the vanilla. Peppermint schnapps, drambuie, rum, you name it. just a teaspoon instead of vanilla and you have taken it to whole new level.

Ha! This is my go-to chocolate chip recipe as well. It is truly the *only* chocolate chip cookie I like. Glad to see someone else has such good taste. 😉
