JIM SCHUETT, ART & WEB DIRECTOR

No messing around here folks, Jim is not only a highly trained, lethal weapon, he is also a marketing master. Dig into Jim's interview and get to know him from the inside out.

1. What is your position at Rogers Family Company?

Art and Web Director

2. How long have you been working for Rogers?

A little over two years

3. What is your favorite hobby?

Martial Arts

4. Why do you enjoy it so much?

I love the physical and mental challenge of it. It pushes you to your limits and reminds me of what achieving new limits feels like. There is always something more to learn and teaching new students is very rewarding. It’s also something I share with my kids. That makes it very rewarding as well.

5. What is the most interesting thing about you?

The fact that I have five kids always seems to raise a few eyebrows. They range from twin 7 year old boys to a 23 year old who is married and living in another state.

6. If you have a hero, who is it?

This is going to sound corny but my wife. It’s why I married her.

7. Why is this person your hero?

I have tons of respect and love for her and how she handles life. She is simply one of the best people I’ve ever known and no matter what she makes the right decision. She is a great partner, mother, sister and daughter. How can that not be a hero?

8. Scenario: You win the lottery. $300,000,000. What do you do?

300 Million is a LOT of money! First I would want to invest some of it to make sure my family could live comfortably. I would make sure my extended family and close friends were taken care of. Not mansions and millions but we could make sure any money trouble went away and that everyone owned their houses, cars , etc. Lastly I would take the bulk of it and find the best way to make a difference in the world. How often does someone have that option? It would require study and management but I think you could make a huge difference with that kind of money.

9. What is your favorite Rogers coffee?

Panama Geisha, I am a big fan of our Guatemalan blend but since we have had some of this Geisha in the office I can’t get enough. It’s the best.
