Show'em AnimeGirl:

1. What is your position at Rogers Coffee?

Associate Accountant (everyone’s favorite on pay-day since I process the payroll) 🙂

2. How long have you been working for Rogers?

Almost 5 years now. Boy, time flies when you’re having fun working for an amazing company.

3. What is your favorite hobby?

Anything creative. I’m a singer/songwriter, a flow artist (hoop dancing, flow wand, and staff, and I light them all on fire too!), sewing, and creating performance flow wands for other flow artists.

4. Why do you enjoy it so much?

I’ve been thrown into creative mode ever since I was young and music was a required subject in my house. I feel like something’s missing if I’m not creating something. It’s meditative and I love being able to express myself in all my different creative outlets.

5. What is the most interesting thing about you?

I suppose all the ways in which I use my creative abilities. And, a little known fact, I’m a half Japanese native and started out school in an all Japanese school. I used to speak, read, and write Japanese, but have since lost it. I hope to be able to pick it up again since my oldest daughter wants to learn too.

6. If you have a hero, who is it?

Both of my daughters.

7. Why are they your heroes?

We’ve been through so many changes in the past 10 years, and they are so resilient. They amaze me. They make parenting easy. They want to do well for themselves and are always getting good grades. And they make me want to always strive to do better in whatever I’m doing for myself and they’re so supportive.

8. Scenario: You win the lottery. $300,000,000. What do you do?

I’d love to buy a home for myself and my daughters and a camper so that we can go camping again. I don’t feel safe camping in a tent with just myself and my girlies…that’s for starters. Then, I’d put a huge amount aside for each of them so that they can have a better start in life than I did. After that, I’d invest some, give some away to those in need, and just have fun with my two girls.

9. What is your favorite Rogers coffee?

The Organic Gorilla Decaf is delicious!
