1. What is My Position?
My job as the receptionist is very rewarding to me. One of the things I like best about my job is being the Director of First Impressions. It is very important to me that when people hear my voice on the phone or see me in person that it leaves a lasting impression of what a good company to do business with, and how proud I am to work for such a great family owned company with good work ethics and respect for all their employees.
2. Years With The Company:
3. What is Your Favorite Hobby?
I have been in a bowling league for 5 years now, and what I like about this league is that it's not competitive –we bowl for fun and have a great time, but at the end of the season each person on the team wins some money, and there is always a team that wins 1st place and gets more of the winnings.
4. What Else Do You Enjoy Doing Besides Bowling?
I also enjoy collecting antiques. My mom was a big fan of going to estate auctions and bidding on antiques. I remember how exciting it was to go to an auction with my mom and watch her bid on items. I grew up in a house with several beautiful pieces that my mom acquired over the years and when she passed away she left me some of her favorite pieces. So when I go antique hunting I think of my mom and all the fun we had together at auctions.
5. What is the Most interesting Thing About You?
I am originally from Baltimore, Maryland, married my high school sweetheart Ed. Our wedding was planned around a football game and we couldn’t get married until after the game ended. Thank heaven the home team won. We have been married 43 years and ever since that day I have learned to love the game and football Sundays have become a way of life for me.
6. Do You Have a Hero? Who is it?
My heroes are the men & women in the military.
7. Why is this Person Your Hero?
They are my heroes because they put their lives in harm’s way everyday to protect and keep our country safe.
8. Scenario: You Win the Lottery. $300,000,000. What Do You Do?
First, I would consult my financial adviser. Set up trust funds for my grandchildren’s college fund; give some of the money to Wounded Warriors, St. Jude’s hospital and the American cancer society. Give my children and family members money and save the rest for retirement and travel.
9. Which is Your Favorite Rogers Coffee?
