Introducing The No Waste 100% Compostable OneCup

AS WRITTEN IN THE SACRAMENTO BEE

Lincoln-based San Francisco Bay Coffee Co. on Thursday introduced what it’s calling a breakthrough in environmentally friendly single-serve coffee pods.

The company’s “No Waste OneCup” product, which offers pods and packaging made entirely of compostable and recyclable materials, can be found at Costco stores nationwide. The OneCup initially is available with the company’s French Roast blend.

I do not do Costco. Why can’t I buy these from you directly?

I am a long time use of your pods, Donut Shop and French Roast decaf.

We have a garden and compost bin and I really want this type of pod.

I love your coffee! But some days I drink too much of it. I would love it if you offered a half-caf blend in your compostable k-cups. Preferably with the flavor of Fog Chaster or Gorilla blend, but really I’d be happy to buy any half-caf k-cup from you. Many thanks, –Bill

Hey Bill, thanks for your comment. We do not currently make a half-caf OneCup, but if that changes we will be sure to let our customers know. 🙂

I went to Costco and they did not carry them anymore . I love , love your coffee . I’m from Europe and it taste nice and strong just like in Germany. I only paid $ 20.00 for 100 cups was that an introduction price ?

Hubs brought a box home from Costco last night. We brewed a cup to sample and we are HOOKED. Best flavor in the coffee business hands down. We love what you stand for, what you do for the community and farmers, and your notable consciousness for the need to care for the environment by standing by sustainable practices that leave a smaller carbon footprint. Win Win! <3

Purchased variety pack, love the french roast we have at work.
If these compostable k-pods are NOT kept in an airtight container, will the coffee or brew lose flavor or strength? I have a pod holder at home that is not airtight. Thx

Hi Cristina, we suggest storing your pods in an airtight container as the bottom is a mesh material and they could lose some of their flavor. Please let me know if you have any more questions!

I am a huge fan of your No-Waste 100% Compostable OneCup and especially love the French Roast. I’ve been buying these from Costco for about a year. However, I recently discovered a difference in the pod use with this last box I bought a few weeks ago. I can no longer get a full cup brew. Has the pod changed in any way that could affect the brewing with my Keurig machine? I already went through many, many troubleshooting steps and ideas in the last week (I won’t go through it all here) and the only conclusion I could come up with is a change to the pod. I’d really hate to switch back to using a plastic pod but that type only works now.

Hi Shelly, I’m sorry to hear you’re having an issue with your coffee. We have not changed the way we make our pods but I suggest you contact our service department and they would be more than happy to troubleshoot with you and see how we can get this issue fixed!
