SAN FRANCISCO BAY COFFEE COMPANY STANDS WITH UNION CITY POLICE OFFICERS, DONATES 108 POUNDS OF COFFEE AT 50TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT
UNION CITY, CALIFORNIA (July 8, 2016) -- The family-owned San Francisco Bay Coffee Company is standing with police officers and firefighters throughout the Bay Area.
The gourmet coffee roaster based in Lincoln, California sponsored a table at a July 2 event celebrating the Union City Police Department’s 50th year of service to the community. In addition to donating 108 pounds of coffee to the Union City Police Officers Association, the San Francisco Bay Coffee Company donated 3,000 samples of its San Francisco Bay’s OneCup single serve coffee product to event visitors. Reflecting the company’s commitment to social and environmental responsibility.

Crystal Raine, Resource Coordinator of the Union City Police Department, said the participation of San Francisco Bay Coffee Company and other organizations enabled it to “connect with approximately 1,000 members of our community ….”
For the past year, San Francisco Bay Coffee Company has donated coffee to various police and fire departments throughout the Bay Area and Northern California, under the supervision of the company’s Director of Corporate Giving Warren Yamauchi. Last year, the company also provided goods and cash to victims of the devastating Butte and Lake County fires.
