Today is Stress Awareness Day, and we want you to not only own your stress, but be armed with knowledge to deal with that stress.
It happens to us all, the stress of what feels like a million items on our to-do list are piling up, and there just isn't enough time in the day. AH!

The internet is filled with ways to reduce stress and you know them all I'm sure.
- Eat healthy
- Drink less caffeine
According to one study, there is a lesser known way to trick your brain into destressing.
The experiment provides "for the first time, clues to the potential antioxidant or stress-relaxation activities of the coffee bean aroma," the researchers wrote. (Washington Post)
They don't all the whys yet, the study is very new, but what they do know is that something happens in the brain when the aroma of coffee hits the nostrils.
These researchers aren't claiming you go grab a bag of beans and start sniffing if you feel the stress of the day overwhelming you, more studies need to be done.
But according to the Washington Post:
What the study does show is that coffee smells do change the brain to some degree, and it behooves us to understand why that is happening.
